Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup melted butter
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F
- Grease muffin pans with a bit of melted butter
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl
- Add the egg, milk, and butter, stirring into the flour mixture to make the batter thick. Don’t over stir to make it too runny.
- Spoon into the muffin pans, filling each cup about two-thirds full
- Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes
