Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1/4 cup (60g) melted butter (or vegetable oil)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the cups. - Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. - Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter (or oil), egg, and vanilla extract (if using). - Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine. - Fill Muffin Tin:
