Here’s a simple and delicious banana bread recipe that is easy to make:

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar (you can reduce to 1/2 cup if you want less sweetness)
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork or potato masher until smooth. You should have about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of mashed bananas.
  3. Mix in the butter: Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and stir.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients: Stir in the baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the flour: Gently fold in the flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the bread is getting too brown on top, you can cover it loosely with aluminum foil for the last 15 minutes of baking.
  8. Cool: Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
