Treat yourself to some rich chocolate and nut brownies

  • 200g Chocolate
  • 175g Butter
  • 3-4 Cups of cocoa
  • 3 Eggs
  • 5-10 ml Vanilla essence
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 175g Chopped nuts
  • 125g Castor sugar


  • Melt chocolate and butter, then add cocoa
  • Whisk eggs and sugar
  • Fold in the flour, chopped nuts and vanilla essence
  • Pour mixture into a well greased rectangular tin
  • Bake at 180C/350F/Gas 4 until ready.
  • Use a wooden skewer to test if they are cooked inside.
